The best futures prop firm depends on what you are optimising: payout speed, the share of each payout you keep, a published track record, or the lowest chance of failing on a bad day. On the rules we checked in October 2026, MyFundedFutures Rapid pays out fastest (daily, once a $2,100 buffer is met), Apex pays you the largest share (100% of approved payouts), Topstep publishes the most complete funnel, and FTMO Futures is the one to read if you already know FTMO. None of them is easy: the published completion and pass rates run from 16.8% to 36.22%.
Every figure below was checked on each firm's own pages on 4 and 5 October 2026, except where a line says otherwise. FTMO pays us a commission when you sign up through our link; Apex, MyFundedFutures, Topstep and Take Profit Trader do not, and their links on this page are plain. That did not affect the picks. Prices change; the checkout page wins. Topstep's Combine was $49, $99 or $199 a month for $50K, $100K and $150K plus a one-time $149 activation fee after you pass, according to a third-party tracker verified on 26 August and cross-checked against topstep.com on 21 September 2026. Apex shows its per-size prices only at checkout.
Our picks, by what you want
Fastest payouts: MyFundedFutures Rapid
Rapid has no daily loss limit, a 2-day minimum, no funded consistency rule and daily payouts once you hold a $2,100 buffer, at a 90/10 split. The catch: Rapid has a 50% consistency rule in evaluation, its funded drawdown switches to intraday trailing (locking at $100), it blocks trading within 2 minutes of Tier 1 news, and The Industry Spread reports accounts closed soon after withdrawal requests, though individual cases are unverified. MyFundedFutures scores 84/100. See MyFundedFutures vs Apex.
The largest share of each payout: Apex
Apex pays 100% of approved payouts, lets you choose intraday or end-of-day drawdown, and has no minimum days to pass. The trade-offs are a 30-day clock with no extensions, a 50% consistency rule on payouts and a six-payout limit per funded account. On a $50K account the official ceilings add up to $13,000 over six EOD payouts. Apex scores 75/100. Its payout total of $828M+ is self-reported. See Apex vs Topstep.
The most complete published funnel: Topstep
Topstep's own 2025 numbers: 16.8% of Trading Combines started were completed, 51.8% of individuals who entered a Combine reached Funded in at least one, and 33.3% of funded individuals received a payout. It is the clearest view we have of how many buyers get from a Combine to a payout. Topstep scores 93/100.
If you already know FTMO: FTMO Futures
The Growth plan costs $119 a month for the 50K account, has no daily loss limit in evaluation and a 40% best-day rule. It is a subscription, so a slow evaluation costs more each month. Read our FTMO review. FTMO scores 84/100.
Take Profit Trader and others
Take Profit Trader discloses that 36.22% of Trading Tests were passed in 2025 (16.86% in 2024) and has no funded consistency rule on PRO accounts; we could not confirm its other terms from official pages, so we have not ranked it. Earn2Trade and FundedNext Futures also appear in our consistency rules guide; FundedNext stopped selling its Rapid and Bolt futures plans on 10 July 2026.
What the pass rates say
- Topstep: 16.8% of Trading Combines started in 2025 were completed (a share of Combines, not of traders).
- MyFundedFutures: 19.97% of evaluation participants passed; 39.2% of funded traders received at least one payout; 4.2% moved to live.
- Take Profit Trader: 36.22% of Trading Tests passed in 2025 and 16.86% in 2024 (pass rates, not payout rates).
These are the firms' own figures, and the denominators differ, so do not compare them directly. They do tell you to budget for more than one attempt.
Before you pay
- Read the funded-stage rules for the exact plan, not just the evaluation rules. Consistency and payout caps usually appear only after you pass.
- Decide whether you can pass inside the clock: 30 days at Apex, a monthly subscription at Topstep and FTMO Futures.
- Check how the firm pays and how long it takes; Apex and Topstep pay by conventional rails, which independent on-chain trackers cannot see.
- Budget for a failed attempt as a cost, and do not top up after a loss.

FAQ
Which futures prop firm pays the most? Apex pays the largest share (100% of approved payouts), but each payout is capped (from about $1,500 to $3,000 on a $50K account) and each account closes after six payouts, so the official ceilings add up to $13,000 over six EOD payouts (our arithmetic from Apex's payout tables). MyFundedFutures Rapid pays 90/10; Pro allows up to $100,000 per payout. Which is better depends on your size and how many accounts you run.
Which has the cheapest evaluation? On 5 October 2026 MyFundedFutures Rapid showed a $125 promo price and FTMO Futures Growth showed $119 a month. Topstep's Combine was $49 a month for the $50K account on a third-party tracker verified 26 August 2026, plus a $149 activation fee after you pass. Apex shows prices only at checkout. Prices change.
Can I trade news? FTMO Futures allows it. Rapid blocks 2 minutes either side of Tier 1 news. Apex allows news within a normal strategy but bans news-chasing.
Do Apex and Topstep payouts show on-chain? No. Both pay through conventional rails.
